We are really pleased to invite Kelly Best to talk about her recent works and her working process.
Kelly was part of our first ever UNIT(e) programme, and it was through this process that we got to know her work. Her practice has developed through paintings and drawings into a mutli-faceted sculptural practice that uses formal methods to investigate shape, weight, form, and surface with the materials she’s using.
Kelly took part in the 3-Phase programme with exhibitions at g39, Eastside Projects, and Jerwood Visual Arts. She was selected for the British School in Rome, and has recently exhibited at Plymouth Art Centre. She is currently exhibiting at Oriel Davies.
This is the first event of our 2017 UNIT(e) Summer School programme. Keep a look out over the next few months for what is building up to be a busy programme of local, national and international artists and curators
